That's your lot 13, Ally Pally, May Bank Holiday

A late post about this ReKindle event, but a show I really enjoyed for the 'flashmob' style performance piece 'Chalk it out', where we all took turns chalking around each other lying flat on the ground when the whistle blew. As for my own work, 'Love arts' was quite popular, indeed you could say it was a runaway success, as in someone ran away with them while I was getting a coffee. I guess I should be flattered. I then spent the next two days recreating them 'live' in the park and met a lot of nice people along the way. Why Love arts? Well with arts being bumped down the national curriculum and with arts generally being cut here there and everywhere, it's easy to get negative, so time to flip the script. Love arts was an attempt to make people just feel good and appreciate art.
